Thousands of negative reviews hit PUGB following the in-game ads
The PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was having a great time last week as they reached more than 1.5 million concurrent users. They also went to form their own company, PUGB Corp. But it looks like things are not going really well for them as the game’s steam page got hit with almost 20,000 negative reviews in just one day.
Some Chinese players are facing the lag issues due to the in-game third party advertisement. The players are forced to join the European or North American servers despite having a fully localized game servers. The lag was so bad that at some moments the game is completely unplayable.
A lot of Chinese players were addressing the exact same issue on the multiple forums. This resulted in the rage outbreak causing thousands of angry gamers posting negative reviews on PUGB’s steam page. We have yet to receive any official statement from the company.
